Gates, N.Y. — One person was hospitalized following a seven-vehicle crash Friday morning on State Route 390, according to Deputy David Marcucci from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded to the crash on 390 South near Lyell Avenue shortly before 9:30 a.m.
Marcucci said one person was taken to a local hospital with apparent minor injuries, and four of the seven vehicles involved were towed from the scene due to damage.
Deputies determined speed was a factor for the first vehicle involved in the crash, according to Marcucci. The driver was issued two citations.
The investigation is over and the area has been cleared.
