GARY, Ind. (WLS) — A woman was killed after a semi-truck rolled over on top of a passenger vehicle on I-80/94 in northwest Indiana Wednesday morning, Indiana State Police said.
The crash occurred at about 2:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes of I-80/94 at Grant Street.
A passenger in the vehicle the truck rolled over onto died, police said. The drivers of the truck and passenger vehicle have minor, non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
The victim was identified to the Lake County Coroner's Office as Dahlia Shakespeare-Sharpe, 53, of Roseville Michigan. +
