ATHENS, Ala. (WAFF) – A man was killed in a car wreck in Athens on Saturday.
Limestone County Coroner Mike West told WAFF the wreck happened on New Cut Road in Athens.
West said EMS responded to the scene, and the man was flown to Huntsville Hospital Trauma Services by Survival Flight of Ardmore.
The man was in critical condition but later died from his injuries.
The identity of the man is unknown at this time.
The wreck is under investigation.
