Finding a Christmas present for the car enthusiast in your life can sometimes be quite tricky. However, if both you and said car enthusiasts happen to be multi-millionaires, the range of options gets a little wider. Here at CarBuzz, we have taken a look at some of the most wildly expensive Christmas gifts that are connected to the world of cars. They all have one thing in common: their price point sits above that of many new cars.
From chess sets to F1 simulators to entire apartments, there is a wide variety of gifts with eye-watering price tags out there. Let’s take a look at some of the most fascinating ones we have found.
Items are listed according to price, from the lowest to the highest. Some prices are estimates or converted from other currencies.
Amalgam Collection, a company known for producing high-end car models, has recreated this classic Bugatti in 1:8 scale. Dubbed “The Lord Rothschild”, this particular model is based on a specific example of the Type 57SC Atlantic, with chassis number 57374.
The original car had been bought by Victor Rothschild, the 3rd Baron Rothschild, in 1936. It was finished in a metallic blue color scheme, which is faithfully recreated in the model alongside all its styling details. Digital scans of the real car were used to capture every curve and angle of its design, creating a model that’s a true work of art- although, of course, the level of craftsmanship is reflected in the price tag.
This pricey present is created with young car enthusiasts in mind. French carmaker De La Chapelle produces both full-sized cars and child-sized ones. This Ferrari 330/P2 replica is in the latter camp, but unlike most children’s cars it has a combustion engine rather than an electric powertrain. The Honda-sourced engine is just 0.1 liters in size, and is paired with an automatic transmission. Although examples of this tiny car are scarce, they occasionally make an appearance on auction sites.
The inspiration behind this car, the real 330/P2, was a part of Ferrari’s “P” series of racing cars from the 60s and 70s. It had a much larger engine than its child-sized counterpart: a 4.0-liter V12, which produced 404 hp. It could get from 0 to 60 mph in around four seconds.
The fanciest wheels out there for small gearheads with big budgets.
Rolex is a partner of the world-famous Goodwood Revival, an annual UK-based automotive event that celebrates all things vintage. Every year, the company gives an award to one particular driver dubbed the “Driver of the Meeting”; in 2025, racing driver Chris Ward was presented with an engraved Rolex Perpetual 1908.
This stylish watch is available with, among other choices, a bracelet called “Settimo” made out of 18-carat yellow gold. Although, within the world of watches, the Perpetual 1908 is not even that expensive (pricier timepieces can run well into the millions!), it will still cost you more than many new cars.
Rolls-Royce is, of course, best known for its ultra-luxury vehicles, however the British brand also offers several high-end lifestyle accessories. One of these is a chess set, built to Rolls-Royce standards, of course. Its design is sleek, modern, and stylish, created to complement the Rolls-Royce sitting in the garage of the lucky person receiving this gift.
There is a wide range of high-gloss finishes and colors for the leather piece holder to choose from. These include Blackwood, Macassar Ebony, and Obsidian Ayous. Although the Rolls-Royce website does not specify a price for this item, some sources cite prices of around $50,000.
Another gift designed for a very lucky child: the Bentley Blower Junior, a small-scale version of the legendary Bentley Blower. Hedley Studios (previously known as The Little Car Company) is a British brand that builds accurate, high-quality children’s versions of a wide range of cars. The Bentley Blower Junior is an 85% scale version of the original, and comes with a 48-volt electric powertrain which produces 20 hp.
It’s actually street-legal, even in the US.
The car has three different driving modes (Comfort, Bentley, and Sport) and a top speed of 45 mph; it is also fully road legal. It was created as a homage to an iconic model that made Bentley famous in the racing world thanks to its supercharger (or “blower”, hence the name). More specifically, the Junior was built to replicate Team Car #2, driven by racer Tim Birkin in the 1920s and 30s.
Do you know someone who has always wanted to be a Formula 1 driver? This gift is the perfect choice for them, if you have $100,000 burning a hole in your pocket. The simulator was designed to replicate the experience of driving Fernando Alonso’s or Lance Stroll’s car, thanks to state-of-the-art gaming technology.
Every aspect of the car’s cockpit, including steering wheel, pedals, and seating position, has been faithfully recreated. The sensory feedback creates the illusion of driving a real Formula 1 car, for a gaming experience that is truly immersive. The simulator can be ordered with or without a front wing and nose cone.
Swedish EV brand Polestar, a part of the Volvo family, launched a collaboration with Candela, an innovative company that builds electric boats. The product of their joint effort was the C-8 Polestar Edition, a sleek eco-friendly boat that combines sustainability and luxury.
The boat uses the same battery and charging tech as Polestar’s own Polestar 2 hatchback. It has fairly quick charging capabilities, getting from 10% to 80% in as little as 30 minutes. It has the capacity to take an entire family on holiday, as it has space for one driver and six passengers. If you want to treat the EV fan in your life with a special Christmas gift and you have a budget of half a million dollars, look no further.
Next up, we have another watch, the Richard Mille RM43-01. This is a limited-run product with Ferrari branding; only 150 units are set to be built. 75 of them will have a titanium case, and will be located on the lower end of the price range; the other 75 will have a fully carbon fiber case, which will make them pricier. The automotive inspiration is visible in the watch’s design: according to the company, the RM43-01’s bezel “features grooves reminiscent of the hood of the Ferrari Daytona SP3.”
The watch is also equipped with a highly precise stopwatch function, which can measure for up to half an hour. The stopwatch function buttons, according to Richard Mille, “echo the rear lights of the SF90 Stradale“.
And this isn’t even the one we’d pick.
If an electric boat isn’t quite your preference when going out to sea, there is another gift on this list that may be a better fit. We’re talking about the Lamborghini Tecnomar LMB63, a yacht that echoes the Italian design cues of the Raging Bull’s iconic cars.
The LMB63 is 63.9 feet long; power comes from two V12 engines which produce a combined power output of around 4,000 hp. Its cruise speed is around 40 knots (just under 50 mph), while its top speed is around 63 knots (roughly 73 mph). The perfect gift for someone who already has a Lamborghini as their land-based vehicle, and wants one as their water-based vehicle.
At the top of our list we have these Aston Martin apartments, for people who want their car to match their home. They are located inside an 818-foot skyscraper in Miami, the tallest residential building in the city. This tower offers gorgeous views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami River, and includes a wide range of different units at a variety of price points.
The cheapest apartments will set you back just over a million dollars, while the most expensive, the penthouse, costs a whopping $52.5 million. Of course, the building is equipped with all the swanky features you would expect of an Aston Martin-branded product, for customers who want to both live in and drive the height of luxury.
