Following a significant refresh for the 2025 model year, the 2026 Honda Odyssey carries over unchanged, continuing to prioritize comfort, family-friendly features, and technology. It retains the same reliable V6 engine, technology, and standard safety features. The 2026 Odyssey has a starting suggested retail price of $44,290, including the $1,495 destination charge.

Honda offers the 2026 Odyssey in four trim levels: EX-L, Sport-L, Touring, and Elite. All come with the same 3.5-liter V6 engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, delivering 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. Front-wheel drive (FWD) is standard on all trims. According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Odyssey gets 22 mpg combined. The van has a towing capacity of up to 3,500 pounds.
Exterior styling carries over from the previous year's refresh, which introduced a new grille and reshaped front and rear fascias. The Odyssey rides on either 18-inch alloy wheels for the EX-L or 19-inch alloy wheels for Sport-L, Touring, and Elite trims, all equipped with all-season tires. Standard features include LED headlights and taillights, power sliding doors, and a power liftgate, with a hands-free version available on the Elite trim.
Inside, the cabin continues to feature a versatile eight-passenger layout. Standard leather upholstery makes cleaning up spills and messes easier, which is great for families with kids. All trims include heated front seats, and the Elite adds ventilation for extra comfort. Honda's flexible Magic Slide second-row seats provide easy access to the third row and versatile positioning. The third-row Magic Seat offers generous legroom and quickly folds flat for maximum cargo space.
Each trim features a 9-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone mirroring, Bluetooth connectivity, and multiple USB-C ports. A CabinTalk intercom system comes standard across all trims, making it easier for those in front to communicate with third-row passengers. Meanwhile, Touring and Elite trims add a CabinWatch in-car camera and a rear entertainment system with a 12.8-inch high-resolution display. Wireless smartphone charging is included in all trims and Wi-Fi hotspot capability is available on select trims.
All 2026 Odyssey trims continue to include the Honda Sensing suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), a comprehensive safety package that protects occupants inside and outside the vehicle. This includes features that are now standard on most new vehicles, such as automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and forward collision warning. Blind spot warning, rear cross-traffic warning, and traffic sign recognition are also standard across all trims.
2026 Honda Odyssey Interior Dashboard
The 2026 Honda Odyssey competes in the small yet competitive minivan segment alongside rivals such as the Chrysler Pacifica, Kia Carnival, and Toyota Sienna.
While Honda can continue to rely on its reputation for reliability, solid design, and generous standard features, with no updates for 2026 and a higher price tag, it faces competition from newer, hybrid and all-wheel drive models. Still, the Odyssey’s dependability, family-friendly design, and engaging driving dynamics help keep it near the top of the class.
