A car has caught fire on the M25 near a major London airport.
The incident has occurred on the motorway near J15 towards Heathrow Airport.
Junction 15, also known as the Thorney Interchange, connects the M25 and M4 motorways, forming a significant interchange for those accessing the airport.
Pictures taken shortly before 10.45am today (September 11) have captured a white car in flames.

The vehicle appears to have been pulled onto some white hatchings at the roadside, with the fire located in the bonnet area.
The boot of the car has been left open, with no sign of the driver or any passengers.
According to the AA’s traffic code indicator, traffic in the area is slow.
