A three-car collision caused severe early morning hold-ups on the M4 during rush hour on Tuesday. There was queuing traffic eastbound from junction 24 A449 (Coldra) to junction 23A A4810 (Magor services).
It also resulted in issues around M4 Brynglas Tunnels, where there was delays of up to an hour.
A statement from Gwent Police read: "Officers attended a report of a three-car road traffic collision near junction 24 of the M4 on Tuesday, September 16.
"Minor injuries were reported and the car have been recovered."

It says it received the call at around 6.30am on Tuesday, September 16.
Traffic Wales is reporting that the incident has now cleared, but long delays continue.
