A woman has been charged over an alleged fatal hit-and-run in Coburg, in Melbourne's inner-north.
Police allege she left the scene after hitting a 40-year-old cyclist, who later died in hospital.
The 40-year-old woman will face court today.
A woman has been charged over a hit-and-run in Melbourne's inner-north last month that left a cyclist dead.
Victoria Police said the cyclist — a 40-year-old Princes Hill man — was struck by a car on Moreland Road about 6:20pm on August 24.
He was taken to hospital but died the following day.
A 40-year-old woman was arrested on Monday at a property in Lower Templestowe.
She was interviewed and has been charged with failing to stop at the scene of an accident, failing to render assistance, failure to report a collision to police and driving while suspended.
She will face the Melbourne Magistrate's Court today.
Detectives also arrested a 61-year-old Aberfeldie man, who has been released pending further enquiries.
Police are still searching for a white 2016 Audi Q5 SUV that detectives believed would have visible damage to both the front and passenger side.
