A motorist who stopped to call an ambulance said she saw a vehicle a couple of cars ahead of her “flying and landing on its roof” but she could not see what caused the car to flip.
Another witness said the car was not going fast at the time of the crash.
A northbound lane was coned off.
A police spokesperson said the crash was reported to them at 8:45am.
The person said reports were that a car had rolled, and hit another car before coming to rest in the cycleway just outside the hospital.
A person in each vehicle suffered moderate injuries, police said.
