A young woman has died after a horror crash in Bolton. Police say it is suspected she may have had a 'medical episode' at the wheel.
It happened on Chorley Old Road at around 7pm last night (Tuesday, September 16).
A car was travelling eastbound along the road when it is 'it is believed to have lost control and collided with a wall before coming to rest', Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said.

The driver, a 24 year-old woman, was declared dead at the scene.
"No other vehicles were involved and it is believed she may have had a suspected medical episode," the force said.
Officers are 'still investigating the full circumstances of the collision', they added, as they appealed for any witnesses or anyone with footage to come forward.
A cordon was in place near the Bob's Smithy Inn pub for several hours on Tuesday night.

A badly damaged bronze-coloured people carrier was seen inside it.
A large number of emergency service vehicles attended the scene including police, paramedics and firefighters.
The air ambulance was seen landing nearby.
GMP are asking anyone who saw what happened, or who has CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage that may help officers, to ring them on 101 or use the Live Chat service on their website, quoting incident log 2921 of 16/09/25.
