TMZ reported that the singer’s camp canceled two remaining U.S. shows, citing sources with “direct knowledge.”
The concert in San Francisco scheduled for Friday, Sept. 19, is labeled as canceled on axs.com, a ticketing platform. The concert planned in Los Angeles on Saturday, Sept. 20, is also listed as canceled. This was part of the singer’s “Withered” tour.
According to TMZ, an appearance by d4vd, David Anthony Burke, at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles has also been canceled.
The public relations firm that lists d4vd on its roster did not immediately respond to a request for confirmation from The Desert Sun. The Desert Sun also reached out to Universal Music Group for comment about the concert cancellations and whether they are linked to the discovery of a body in a car, allegedly his.
Authorities reportedly discovered human remains in a vehicle in Los Angeles on Sept. 8, multiple news outlets reported. Investigators have not publicly linked Burke to any investigations as of the afternoon of Friday, Sept. 19. ABC News also reported that the vehicle is registered to Burke, citing a “senior LAPD source.”
