Drivers on Highway 99 faced delays northbound Sunday afternoon as crews responded to a car fire, according to DriveBC.

Callers to 1130 NewsRadio report seeing thick flames and black smoke rising from what appeared to be a small car pulled over on the side of the road between Lions Bay and Porteau Cove.
Twin brothers Brian and Matt May shared drone footage, saying they saw the car burst into flames around 2 p.m.
The highway has since cleared.
