Capital Euro Cars rolled out its latest luxury car dealership with the debut of the Capital Volkswagen and Capital Volvo Cars.
It’s located at 1800 Capital Circle N.E., next to Dale Earnhardt Jr. Buick GMC and Proctor Subaru. The 28,000 square-foot dealership opened its doors on Sept. 8 and welcomed customers to a modern dealership with two separate showrooms under one roof.
The dealership is owned by the Crown Automotive Group, headquartered in St. Petersburg, which has maintained a Tallahassee presence for more than 20 years. Capital Euro Group is the main parent company for the new Volvo and Volkswagen dealership.
General Manager Michael Beattie said the Crown Automotive Group has made significant investments in the communities it serves.
“For us, it’s been a long time coming,” General Manager Michael Beattie said. “The brands themselves definitely feel like Tallahassee is a growing market. There are a lot of talented people of all walks of life who are coming here, and they see these brands certainly missing before they filled in.”
Beattie said the new dealership was designed to upgrade the showroom to offer a “first-rate experience for both Volvo and Volkswagen.”
In addition, Beattie said there are no definitieve plans for the former dealership site, located at 3963 W. Tennessee St.
The new Volvo and Volkswagen dealership is one of several new or upgraded properties for the Capital Euro Cars, which debuted its new Porsche dealership last year.
In May 2023, the BMW/Jaguar/Land Rover dealership location debuted at 1485 Capital Circle N.W. Mercedes Eurocars, 3705 W. Tennessee St. All of the renovations and construction work was done by Sperry Construction in Tallahassee.
