Macedon, N.Y. — First responders recovered the body of a woman whose car was pulled from a Wayne County pond Wednesday morning.
Sheriff Rob Milby said his office received a call around 4 a.m. that a car had gone off Route 31F near Hance Road in Macedon and went into the water.
A scuba team was seen going into the pond to remove the car and the driver's body.
The driver hasn't been identified. Milby said the driver was the only occupant. It's unclear what led to the car going into the pond.
