As on cue, the monthly free content update for Gran Turismo 7 is out… yesterday? The September 2025 update, Update 1.63, has released one day early than the usual cadence of every last Thursday of the month. But we now know why.
But first, the update itself. It’s a bigger update with five cars instead of three being added. But there’s nothing much else. The usual GT7 update cycle.
The car selection is a mix of unexpected Vision Gran Turismo cars, less desired modern crossovers and another variant of a car with tons of variants. A mix bag.
The Hyundai Elantra N brings another of Hyundai’s N line of cars, this time with an engine. The Mazda Spirit Racing Roadster is a limited-edition car based on the Mazda MX-5. The recently revealed Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo gets to go straight into the game. And the finally we have a pair of Toyota 4×4. The new Toyota Rav4 Adventure will have racing fans groan that another one of these modern crossovers are in this game, while the car enthusiasts will likely be appreciative with the inclusion of at the Toyota Land Cruiser FJ0V, an iconic off-roader/
With Update 1.63, the total number of cars in Gran Turismo 7 is now at 547 cars.
Gran Turismo 7 September 2025 Update New Content
As we found out early today, the release of the new update was brought forward early is because there was an announcement for GT7 at the September 2025 State Of Play. The next update will be Gran Turismo 7 Spec III bringing eight cars, not one but two tracks, and new features.
This will however be Update 1.64, and the Spec III update is expected to drop in December. So it’ll be two months of no new content updates from now.
The new September 2025 update for Gran Turismo 7 is now live on PS4 and PS5.
