Drivers faced chaos as traffic was stopped on the M20 this morning following a car crash.
Queues were seen stretching back for miles as motorists faced major delays following the collision. The M20 was closed westbound between Junction 4 (Leybourne) and Junction 3 (M26) before all junctions were later reopened.
National Highways said there was around two miles of congestion due to the collision in Kent and drivers dealt with delays of around 45 minutes.

National Highways has told drivers to "please allow extra journey time" following the M20 closure.
Drivers can still expected delays of around 45 minutes on approach to J4 westbound.
Lane one of the M20 westbound, between J4 and J3, has been reopened.
Lanes two, three and four remain closed following the car crash. National Highways said these lanes are still shut while emergency crews work at the scene.

The agency said: "Traffic has been temporarily stopped on the M20 westbound between J4 (Leybourne) and J3 (M26) due to a collision."
