FBHS FACEBOOK POST:
“(Friday) the Flowery Branch High School community lived out the Hall County School District’s vision of striving to be “the most caring place on earth.”
Ms. Len, who serves faithfully as FBHS’s parking lot security guard, has been facing difficult financial times. When her car became unsafe to drive, Principal Joey Farah offered to pay for a new tire out of his own pocket. That simple act of kindness led to a chain reaction.
Christian Brothers Automotive of Flowery Branch not only stepped in to help with the repair but went far beyond expectations by donating a reliable vehicle—a 2014 Nissan Altima with a brand-new transmission. FBHS STEAM/TSA students detailed the car, and the school’s Work-Based Learning team partnered with local businesses to cover registration costs, ensuring Ms. Len received the vehicle at no expense to her.
(Friday) afternoon, after buses departed, students, staff, and community partners gathered to surprise Ms. Len with the keys. Her joy was a reminder of what happens when people come together to care for one another.
We are proud of Flowery Branch High School for leading with compassion, grateful to Christian Brothers Automotive for their generosity, and inspired by a community that shows what it means to live out our vision each day.”
