A woman has died and two men are injured following a head-on crash involving two Teslas in Griswold over the weekend.
State police said a gray Tesla was traveling southbound on Preston Road on Sunday around 3 p.m. when it crossed into the northbound travel lane and collided with a white Tesla that was traveling north.

After the head-on collision, troopers said the front seat passenger in the white Tesla suffered serious injuries. She was transported to Backus Hospital and later died. State police have identified her as 21-year-old Alexis Ann Newcomb, of Ashburnham, Mass.
The drivers of both Teslas suffered minor injuries and were also taken to Backus Hospital.
