There is a three-mile tailback along the A2 after a crash involving two cars.
Police have been called to the westbound carriageway between Harbledown, near Canterbury, and Brenley Corner.
One lane is closed following the collision.
National Highways posted on X shortly after 4.30pm today: “Delays are quickly building on approach.”
It adds there are about three miles of congestion.
Police have been contacted for comment.
