Fox Factory will soon reveal a sportier Ram 1500 with styling and chassis upgrades
Ram has a long legacy of cool street trucks, from the V10-powered SRT-10 to special trims that blurred the line between workhorse and performance machine. Now, another contender looks set to join that lineage, though this time it won’t be a direct factory model. Instead, it appears to be a collaboration with Fox Factory, aimed squarely at rivals like the Ford F-150 Lobo.

The street truck is set for an October 6 debut, with teasers pointing to a lowered suspension, aerodynamic upgrades, and a V8 under the hood, hinted at by the Hemi tag in Fox Factory’s Instagram post, which was also shared on Ram’s page.
More Than Just Suspension
Fox Factory has long been known for its lifted and lowered setups across brands like Chevrolet, GMC, Ford, and Ram. This project, though, appears to stretch further, bordering on a limited-edition build. The company’s announcement teases, “A beast in hiding, Ram reveal. Strength, style, and stance like never before,” suggesting a more comprehensive upgrade package.
Teasers reveal the shadowy silhouette and a close-up of its front bumper, pointing to a Ram 1500 as the base. The biggest change is its slammed stance, aimed at on-road handling rather than off-road climbing. Up front, a deep splitter with integrated fins hints at an aerodynamic package designed to match the suspension work.
The show vehicle will wear a black finish with gold detailing across the bodywork. Fresh alloy wheels wrapped in Toyo Proxes ST III tires, a high-performance all-season option for sports trucks and SUVs, complete the look.
Hemi Power
Fox Factory has yet to confirm performance details, but the Hemi reference in its posts leaves little doubt about what will be under the hood of the new street truck.
The 5.7-liter Hemi V8 returned to the Ram 1500 lineup earlier this year, producing 395 hp (295 kW / 400 PS) in standard form. While that’s shy of the 540 hp (403 kW / 548 PS) from the twin-turbo 3.0-liter Hurricane inline-six, the Hemi offers great tuning potential and a more charismatic soundtrack.

When it arrives, this Ram could make for an interesting rival to Ford’s recently introduced F-150 Lobo. Ford’s street truck pairs a factory suspension drop with a sportier bodykit, 22-inch wheels, and a louder exhaust, while keeping its 400 hp 5.0-liter V8 untouched. Chevrolet, meanwhile, doesn’t currently offer a dedicated sporty Silverado, though aftermarket solutions exist for those keen on a similar vibe.
More details on Ram’s street truck will come with the full unveiling on October 6, when we’ll see exactly how far Fox Factory has pushed the concept.
