Daniel Suárez shared harrowing images after a car wreck involving his wife, mother and mother-in-law. Thankfully, they were alright following the accident, Suárez credited the car — a Chevy Blazer — for keeping his family safe.
Check out the photographs below. As you can tell, it wasn’t an easy accident to be a part of. Suárez couldn’t be more grateful, and he certainly has a good reason to be.

A scary situation, but thankfully Suárez and his family are all good. Now, the Trackhouse Racing wheelman can focus on finishing the final four races of the season strong, as he looks for a new ride for 2026.
Next season, Connor Zilisch will take over Suárez’s seat in the Cup Series. After a successful couple of seasons, the wheelman and Trackhouse are moving in a different direction, and there still hasn’t been much traction on an announcement for a 2026 ride for the 33-year-old.
However, Suárez dropped a pretty sizable hint late in September. He told Saajan Jogia of Newsweek that “things are looking good” and he’ll be able to announce his next move in a short period of time.

“Yeah, things are looking good,” Suárez stated. “That’s all I can say. Hopefully we can announce what we’re going to do next month, I think. I think next month it should be already public, but I’m happy where I am.
“That’s all I can say. I’m very, very blessed. I have so many great people on my corner, so many great sponsors as well, and things are looking good. Well, it’s not a done deal. If it was done, you guys would know already, but things are looking good.”
Previously, Jordan Bianchi of The Athletic highlighted Suárez’s options for 2026, and it was clear that his most viable option would be to race in the Xfinity Series. Nothing is official, but it would be a smart move for Suárez to regroup a bit after a tough 2025.
Time will tell where Suárez ends up, but he’s simply feeling a bit grateful on Tuesday for his family’s well-being. His ride for 2026 will take care of itself, and it probably feels like small potatoes at the moment to the longtime NASCAR wheelman.
