Ford toughens up the Ranger Raptor with a limited edition package in collaboration with local tuner ARB
The already wild Ranger Raptor gets a new healthy dose of desert-ready attitude thanks to a fresh accessory package from ARB. Known as the Desert Pack, this limited-edition upgrade will be offered exclusively through Ford in Australia, with only 500 units available. It’s designed to make the Raptor look even toughter while adding practical off-road features.
Visually, the first thing that stands out is the roof-mounted ARB “Nacho Quatro” lamps for improved visibility at night. The four LEDs are arranged in two pairs and sit on a custom roof bar that looks like a spoiler. This is combined with a matching ARB Sports Bar on the rear bed.

There are a few trade-offs, though. Ford says that the factory power roller shutter isn’t compatible with the new sports bar, but it can be replaced with the optional Real Truck Power Roller Shutter. Additionally, the bright roof lights can interfere with DAB+ digital radio signals. Ford’s engineers decided that conquering the dunes at night outweighed the need for crystal-clear radio reception.
Desert-Ready Looks
The side panels wear the Desert Pack decal set, featuring black and gray graphics. For those who prefer a subtler appearance, the decals can be deleted at no extra cost. Inside, all-weather floor mats with Ford Performance branding keep the cabin protected from the dust, sand, and mud the Raptor may or may not ever encounter.
As expected, nothing changes beneath the surface. The twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 continues to deliver 392 hp (292 kW / 397 PS) and 430 lb-ft (583 Nm) of torque in local specification, paired with a Raptor-tuned suspension setup that includes Fox 2.5-inch shock absorbers.

The accessory package was developed as a tribute to the Raptor’s success in the Finke Desert Race. The model has secured three consecutive class wins at the demanding event in 2023, 2024, and 2025, often described as Australia’s toughest off-road race.
How Much Does it Cost?
The Desert Pack is now available to order via Ford dealers in Australia with a limited availability of 500 units. It can be fitted as an option to the 2026 Ranger Raptor that begins production later this month. The upgrades add AU$ 5,990 (US$3,900) to the price of the standard Raptor which starts from AU$ 90,690 (US$ 59,500) before on-road costs.
For those who already own a Ranger pickup or an Everest SUV, Ford Australia also offers a range of licensed ARB accessories including bull bars, snorkels, underbody protection, roof racks, canopies, side steps, storage systems and upgraded suspension components.
