Raleigh police are investigating reports of car break-ins near the North Carolina State Fairgrounds.
Police did not share the exact location, timing or details of the break-ins but said officers were in the area taking reports Tuesday night. WRAL News is working to confirm when and where the break-ins occurred.

The break-ins happened while parking lots were packed for Tuesday night’s Chris Brown concert at Carter-Finley Stadium. WRAL News received reports of heavy traffic in the area Tuesday evening, likely caused by the concert combined with peak rush hour.
The fair itself does not kick off until Thursday, but preparations are in full swing, with rides and food vendors already set up and awaiting inspection.
The first two days of the N.C. State Fair, Thursday and Friday, will overlap with a Billie Eilish concert at the Lenovo Center. The venue has already sent a statement asking concert-goers to arrive early to the 7 p.m. shows in preparation for fair and rush hour traffic.
