A CAR fire caused traffic chaos on Stourbridge ring road today.
Firefighters from Stourbridge station responded to a fire in a car boot on Bath Road at around 12.20pm today (Wednesday October 15).
It is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault.
Thankfully no-one was hurt in the incident, which led to the ring road being down to just one lane for traffic.
Police were on scene for traffic management.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Fire Service said: “A fire crew from Stourbridge responded to Bath Rd at 12.20pm today (Wed).
“They used a hose reel to extinguish a fire involving a car’s boot compartment.
“It’s believed to have started because of an electrical issue. No-one was hurt in the incident.
“West Midlands Police also attended for traffic management.
“We left at 1.10pm.”
