What would you drive if you had millions of dollars in the bank? Last summer, Forbes published a list of the richest people in every state. Unsurprisingly, Mark Zuckerberg, co-founder of Facebook and CEO of Meta Platforms, is listed as the richest person in California as of July 2025.
Zuckerberg’s current net worth is over $242 billion dollars according to Forbes, making him the third-richest person on the planet at time of publication. So, what does a multi-billionaire drive? Furthermore, is it a vehicle average Americans can afford?
Mark Zuckerberg daily drives a Cadillac CT5 V-Blackwing, according to an article by automotive publication AutoEvolution. Zuckerberg divulged this information while showcasing a Meta Ray-Ban feature that keeps a record of where drivers parked, then informs them of their vehicle’s location in case they forget their parking spot.
A social media user commented asking the CEO “so what does Zuck drive?”. Mark responded saying “Mostly Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing these days”. The social media comment is from 2024, but we know Zuckerberg has at least daily driven the CT5-V Blackwing for a period of time before potentially switching to another vehicle.
The billionaire owns multiple cars and has the means to purchase any production vehicle including models from Rolls-Royce, Bugatti and Pagani. What’s so great about the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing and why is it appealing to Meta Platforms’ CEO?
Shopping for a luxury vehicle: What is the cheapest Cadillac you can buy in 2025?
Cadillac is General Motors’ luxury division. The automaker is known for producing several impactful luxury nameplates including the Cadillac Escalade. Cadillac’s CT5 is a luxury midsize sedan with powerful engine options and a tech-heavy cabin.
The 2026 Cadillac CT5-V Series Blackwing starts at $99,095 for the stick shift version. Cadillac’s automatic model will run you $105,370 before taxes and additional fees. The CT5-V Blackwing comes standard with a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine that produces 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque. The automatic transmission version rockets from 0-60 miles per hour in about 3.4 seconds.
Cadillac’s CT5-V Blackwing features standard performance front bucket seats and GM’s Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance system. Super Cruise “feels like there’s an actual human driving the car, rather than a machine designed to mimic a driver”, according to a review by Road and Track.
If Mark Zuckerberg’s daily driver is out of your price range, don’t fret. The base model Cadillac CT5 sedan starts at $50,095. Drivers can opt for a twin-turbocharged V6 engine for $53,595 with the Premium Luxury trim. Cadillac’s CT5-V model starts at $59,095.
While the American luxury automaker offers several top-of-the-line performance models via its V-Series line, car buyers can also choose more affordable Cadillacs and select powerful engine options without breaking the bank. You don’t need to be one of the richest people in the world to drive a Cadillac with great performance specs and standard tech.
