WANAQUE, New Jersey (WABC) — A deadly crash near an elementary school in Wanaque, New Jersey caused delays of an hour and a half at schools district-wide.
Police say up to four cars collided on Ringwood Avenue, just north of Haskell Elementary School, after 8:30 p.m. on Sunday.
A portion of Ringwood Avenue was closed for several hours to clean up debris following the crash.
One person is believed to be dead and no other injuries have been confirmed at this time.
Ringwood Avenue was cleared of debris and reopened Monday morning.
The crash is being investigated by the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office.
