One person was injured after five cars were involved in a crash on Interstate 15 in American Fork on Tuesday morning.
The crash was first reported by the Utah Department of Transportation just before 6:45 a.m.
Details on the crash were not immediately available but Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Mike Alexander confirmed one man suffered moderate injuries.
The crash blocked the right two lanes of I-15 at mile marker 276, near the 500 East exit in American Fork.
According to the UDOT Traffic Monitor, traffic backed up nearly four miles to Bonneville. UDOT warned drivers to expect delays and to use an an alternate route, such as US-89/State Street.
While the crash was cleared by 8:20 a.m., UDOT said commuters should expect residual delays.
