Raleigh police are investigating after a person was hit by a car on Capital Boulevard near Trawick Road.
Police said officers were called just before 8 p.m. on Tuesday. Police said the person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The intersection is closed while officers investigate the cause of the crash. Police have not released the names of anyone involved.
