A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash. Emergency services were called to a collision between a car and a pedestrian in Margam Road, Margam, at 5am this morning. The road remains closed at this time.
A spokesman for South Wales Police said: "South Wales Police was called at 5am this morning (Thursday, October 23) to a car having collided with a pedestrian in Margam Road, Margam.
"A 36-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries, investigations into the collision are currently on-going.”

Traffic on and around Margam Road is currently flowing freely. The road has been closed in both directions since around 5am this morning.
The A48 Margam Road remains closed at this time while police investigations continue.
The closure is in place near 12 Knights Public House, from Ty-Fry Road to Cyncoed Junction.
