AUSTIN, Texas — A Waymo autonomous vehicle was involved in a multi-vehicle crash in Central Austin on Monday morning, according to the Austin Police Department.
Austin police officers responded to the three-car collision at around 8:34 a.m. on the 5700 block of Airport Blvd.

Preliminary information indicates a southbound vehicle attempted a left turn onto Koenig Lane against a red light. This maneuver led to a collision with another vehicle and the autonomous vehicle.
Airbags deployed in the vehicles, but all occupants exited without serious injuries, though one person reported minor pain.
The roadway was temporarily blocked but cleared by 9:26 a.m.
No arrests were made or charges filed.
