PRYOR, OKLA. (KTUL) — Pryor Creek Police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit and killed by a car Sunday night.
According to Pryor Creek Police Chief Jeremy Cantrell, a man left Hooker's Bar and Grill on foot and crossed the northbound lanes of Highway 69, near 530 Road, then went into the southbound lanes, where he was hit by a car around 8:12 p.m.
The man was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries. The driver was not injured and is fully cooperating with the investigation, which is still ongoing.
Police thanked the employees of the bar and the citizens at the scene who performed CPR.
