A New Baltimore man was killed Nov. 4 in a three-vehicle accident along Glades Pike (Route 31) in Allegheny Township, according to the state police in Somerset.
Michael Foor, 51, was the passenger in a vehicle driven by John Restly, 72, of Berlin when the accident occurred around 5:45 a.m. along Route 31 at the intersection with Wambaugh Hollow Road.
According to the police report, Restly had exited Wambaugh Hollow Road onto Route 31 and was traveling west when a second vehicle, operated by Nathan Blackburn, 35, of Buffalo Mills, struck the rear of Restly’s vehicle. Restly then crossed into the eastbound lane and collided with a third vehicle, operated by Christopher Glover, 43, of Somerset.
Foor was pronounced dead at the scene; Restly was taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center with serious injuries. Blackburn and Glover sustained minor injuries but both refused medical treatment, the report said.
Neither of the vehicle operators nor the passenger was wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash, police said.
The accident remains under investigation by the state police.
