(WRGB) — New York State Police are questioning someone after they say a marked patrol car was stolen from a repair shop in Oneonta early Wednesday morning.
According to troopers, the repair shop called them about a break in and said the patrol car, which had been at the shop for service, was taken
Hours later the car was recovered in Rensselaer County.
New York State Police say a person found inside the patrol car was taken into custody and is being interviewed by investigators.
So far, no charges have been filed.
State Police say they will provide additional details as they become available.
