WARREN, Ohio – Sales of new cars and trucks to customers across the Mahoning Valley changed little in October compared with the same period last year, according to the most recent report from the Greater Cleveland Automobile Dealers’ Association.
Dealers in northeastern Ohio reported they sold a total of 2,430 new vehicles to residents of Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties during the month, compared with 2,438 in October 2024.
Boardman Subaru reported the most title registrations for new vehicles with 165, while Toyota of Boardman reported the second highest volume with 135, the report shows. Ken Ganley Boardman Kia said it sold 133 new cars and trucks; Fairway Ford, Canfield, registered 122 sales; and Greenwood Chevrolet, Austintown, said it sold 107 new vehicles during the month.
Sales of used vehicles to Valley residents improved from last year, data show. Dealers reported they sold 2,050 used cars and trucks last month, compared with 1,902 sold in October 2024, an increase of 7.7%.
Combined sales of used and new vehicles increased in October from the previous year, the report shows. Dealers reported collective new and used vehicle sales totaling 4,547 units during the month, compared with 4,452 during the same time in 2025, an increase of 7.7%.
