NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — An obstruction in the left lane of I-26 eastbound near the Volvo Car Drive interchange left dozens with flat tires in the area Saturday morning.
The lane is closed to traffic as of 10:45 a.m. between the Volvo interchange just before the Jedburg interchange. Witnesses told News 4 there were "almost two dozen" vehicles pulled over with flat tires as a result of the incident.
The South Carolina Department of Transportation said it is aware of the situation. News 4 has reached out to the South Carolina Highway Patrol for more information.
