A pedestrian was struck by a car in a collision in Birmingham in the early hours of today, Thursday, November 13.
West Midlands Police was probing the circumstances surrounding the incident after reports said a man was walking in the middle of Pershore Road at 1.40am.
Police said a man in his 40, was struck by a car. His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

Police said the driver of the car involved in the collision helped in their investigation.
A police spokeswoman told BirminghamLive: "We were called to Pershore Road, Selly Oak, at around 1.40am this morning following concerns for a man who was walking in the road.
"While officers were enroute, a man in his 40s was hit by a car. He was taken to hospital where his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
