A Crewe woman has been charged with drink driving after their vehicle crashed into three parked cars in the town, leaving it tilted on its side.
On Tuesday 11 November, Cheshire Police were alerted to an incident on Badger Avenue, close to the junction with Underwood Lane.
At 6.39pm, officers arrived at the scene, discovering a black SUV had ploughed into a trio of parked cars at high speed.
The crash left the vehicles severely damaged, with Rachel Howell, 41, of Wheelman Road, blowing over the limit for drink driving and being arrested at the scene.
Howell, who was later charged with the incident, appeared at Chester Magistrates’ Court for a first hearing on Wednesday 12 November.
The local woman pleaded guilty at the hearing and will appear at Crewe Magistrates’ Court on Monday 15 December for sentencing.
