A man and his dog are dead after they were hit by a car on Wednesday in Towson, Baltimore County police announced Thursday.
On November 12, at around 4:15 p.m., Towson officers responded to the area of Towsontown Boulevard and Emerson Drive for a report of an injured pedestrian.
Upon arrival, officers discovered that the pedestrian and his dog were hit by a 2014 Toyota Camry traveling westbound on Towsontown Blvd.
Following the collision, the driver of the Toyota remained at the scene.

The pedestrian, identified as 32-year-old Jordan Sachs, was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
His dog was taken to an animal hospital by a resident.
Both were pronounced dead on Wednesday, according to police.
Members of the Baltimore County Police Department’s Crash Team are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the deadly crash.
