YEONGJONG ISLAND, Incheon — Mercedes-Benz Korea, Friday, showcased its upcoming all-electric vehicle (EV) lineup during its Future Strategy Conference. The EVs are set to debut in the country starting in 2026. The lineup includes a sedan, SUV, high-performance car and a van.
The all-new electric CLA sedan and the all-new electric GLC SUV — two strategic vehicles that will spur EV sales growth for Mercedes-Benz Korea — will be available for sale as early as 2026.
The carmaker also introduced its CONCEPT AMG GT XX high-performance four-door vehicle featuring hyper-fast charging. It is powered by three axial-flux motors and a special battery inspired by Formula 1.
The Vision V chauffeur-driven luxury limousine was unveiled in Korea for the first time during the event, as part of the carmaker’s group-wide plan to launch 40 new vehicles globally by 2027.
Mercedes-Benz will also release most of the new cars for the Korean market to meet the strong demand for luxury cars from local customers, the company said.

Mercedes-Benz Group Chairman Ola Kallenius shared the carmaker’s renewed vision during the event and expressed gratitude to the carmaker’s major parts suppliers from Korea. He arrived in Korea, Thursday, for a two-day business trip.
On his first day in Seoul, the head of the German carmaker held meetings with top executives from Samsung and LG — two key technological partners for Mercedes-Benz’s major parts.
“You will not find a Mercedes-Benz car anywhere in the world without a piece of Korea in it,” he told reporters during the conference on Yeongjong Island in Incheon. “By 2027, we will introduce more than 40 new models, most of which will also be available here in Korea, one of the most important markets regarding drivetrain technologies.”
The new vehicles will be powered by multiple powertrains, such as plug-in hybrids and electrified high-tech combustion engines, according to Kallenius.
Mercedes-Benz has forged technological partnerships with key affiliates from Samsung and LG in multiple areas, such as in-vehicle infotainment systems and EV batteries.
Kallenius praised the two Korean conglomerates for driving technological innovation and underscored their role in the carmaker’s solid lead in the global luxury vehicle market.
Reflecting on the strategic importance of Korea in terms of the auto parts supply, the German carmaker also said it will set up what it calls a new Asian procurement hub in Seoul dedicated to handling its auto parts supply and quality control.
The procurement base, set to open in January 2026, will be used to deepen its supply-side partnership with not just Korea, but also other key Asian markets, such as Japan, Thailand and Malaysia, according to Mercedes-Benz.
When asked about his closed-door meetings with Samsung Electronics Executive Chairman Lee Jae-yong and the heads of LG Group’s key affiliates, Kallenius said he discussed tech partnerships that will come out “in the next three to four years.”
However, he declined to provide further details on whether the carmaker will enter into more auto parts contracts with the Korean tech firms. With Lee and Samsung SDI CEO Choi Joo-sun holding a dinner meeting with the head of Mercedes-Benz, Thursday, rumors have surfaced that Samsung will be able to supply its EV batteries to the carmaker for the first time.
