SOMERSET, Mass. (WJAR) — A Tiverton woman was killed Thursday night in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 195 east in Somerset.
Police said they responded to a three-car crash at 7:45 p.m.

Officers said the crash was caused by a wrong-way driver, identified as 69-year-old Gail Lopes.
According to police, the driver sustained critical injuries and died.
At least two other people were transported to the hospital.

All eastbound lanes were closed due to the investigation.
Video provided by a viewer showed a car driving on the wrong side of the highway before crashing.
