A crash involving a motorcycle and a car has sent one person to hospital Friday, the Surrey Police Service (SPS) says.
Officers responded to the crash on 157th Street near 24th Avenue shortly before 1:30 p.m.
“The rider of the motorcycle has been transported to an area hospital by BCEHS with serious injuries,” the SPS said.
Callers to 1130 NewsRadio report seeing a car being loaded onto a flatbed truck and multiple ambulances on the scene.
It is unclear whether or not the driver of the car was injured.
