A crash involving multiple vehicles has closed Interstate 495 north in Andover, Massachusetts, during the evening rush Monday, police said.
It wasn’t immediately clear what led to the pileup or if anyone was hurt, but the Andover Fire Department noted that multiple ambulanced were called to the scene, near the exit to Route 133.

They said the crash involved a rollover, and urged drivers to avoid the area.
Video from the scene showed a tractor-trailer and other vehicles being towed.
Massachusetts Department of Transportation said two lanes of the highway northbound were closed at at Exit 97 in Tewksbury, which neighbors Andover. It wasn’t immediately clear if that incident was related to the crash in Andover, but the agency later said all lanes of the highway were closed at Exit 92.
