THIS is the moment a flatbed lorry carrying multiple new Teslas burst into flames on a motorway as thick smoke billowed from the burning vehicles.
The incident took place on the Shanghai–Jiaxing–Huzhou Expressway in Huzhou, China, on November 15.

Footage shows several new cars branded as Teslas on the transporter as flames and dense smoke rise from both the flatbed and some of the vehicles loaded onto it.
Multiple social media users said the fire began suddenly and the lorry “burned within minutes”.
Officials from the Huzhou Traffic Management Division confirmed the alert was received at midday and there were no casualties.
Fire crews said the blaze had been extinguished and confirmed there were no injuries.

Fire took hold and the vehicle ended up being a burnt-out ruin sitting on the side of the road. But the cause is still a mystery.
There is also growing scrutiny of Tesla’s futuristic door systems.
In September, a man and two children were burned to death after getting trapped inside a Tesla in western Germany.
The Tesla is said to have veered off the road and smashed into a tree while attempting to overtake another vehicle.
The car then burst into flames – killing a 43-year-old man and two children, both aged nine.
Locals near the crash site attempted to rescue the remaining passengers, but they could not open Tesla’s retractable handles, German media outlets reported.
In a separate incident in California, America last November, a college student died after being trapped in a burning Tesla Cybertruck.
Krysta Michelle Tsukahara was one of three young people killed when the futuristic car slammed into a tree and exploded.
Her parents, Carl and Noelle Tsukahara, have since filed a wrongful death lawsuit in Alameda County Superior Court.
They claim Tesla — run by billionaire Elon Musk — knew for years its battery-powered doors could jam in a crash but failed to act.
