Traffic has been halted sparking lengthy delays along the M40 after a car flipped over in a horror crash.
Emergency services raced to the M40 northbound in Oxfordshire between J10 and J11.
National Highways East said it was due to a collision involving an overturned car.
People have claimed there are lengthy delays following the crash on the M40.
X/Twitter user Scott Ramsay said: "M40 northbound completely blocked by a serious collision junctions 10 -11. Miles of tailback already."
Long delays are expected on the M40 following the crash.
OxonTravel, which shares travel updates for Oxfordshire, said on X/Twitter: "We have received reports of a road-traffic incident on the #M40 Northbound between the J10 and J11, causing long delays.
"All traffic is currently being held between J10 and J11. Please approach with caution or find an alternative route."

Following the crash, the AA said: "Road closed and queueing traffic due to crash on M40 Northbound between J10 B430 (Brackley / Cherwell Valley Services) and J11 A422 (Banbury)."
National Highways East said the delays were due to an overturned car.
"Traffic has been STOPPED on the #M40 northbound in #Oxfordshire between J10 (#Ardley) and J11 (#Banbury) due to a collision involving an overturned car," it said. "Emergency services are attending the scene. Long delays are building on approach. More information to follow."
