A flipped car left the A14 westbound near Stow cum Quy partially blocked. The car overturned just before 2.05pm today (Tuesday, November 18).
Traffic was moving very slowly. Inrix, the traffic monitoring company, reported at the time: "A14 Westbound partially blocked, very slow traffic due to overturned car at J35 A1303 Newmarket Road (Stow Cum Quy)."
The road reopened at just before 9.30pm.

National Highways has said all lanes are now back open but say drivers should still allow extra time for their journeys while 'residual delays clear.'
There are still delays of around an hour, according to National Highways' live traffic alerts.

Cambridgeshire Constabulary led the multi-agency response, which included East of England Ambulance Service, Cambridgeshire Fire & Rescue Service and East Anglian Air Ambulance, to this serious collision on the A14 westbound near Stow cum Quy which occurred shortly after 14:00 this afternoon.
The car has overturned and come to rest on its roof resulting in serious injuries. A large fuel spillage has also been confirmed.
Lane 2 is also closed on the eastbound carriageway, due to the location of the car.
National Highways Traffic Officers are assisting the emergency services at scene with emergency traffic management.
All traffic caught within the closure is being released via the rear of the queue. Vehicles will be released in batches and will take time.
National Highways are advising drivers to follow the solid triangle diversion symbol on road signs:
From the A15 J36, take the A11 travelling southbound
Exit the A11 (signposted Royston / A505 (M11 N))
Travel on the A505 towards Duxford
At the roundabout with the M11, take the 3rd exit on to the M11 northbound
Travel northbound on the M11 and rejoin the A14 westbound at Girton
National Highways says it does not expect the road to clear and traffic conditions to return to normal until around 7.15pm.

Firefighters rescued a casualty from the flipped car.
A Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said:
We were called just after 2pm to a road traffic collision on the A14 westbound between Newmarket and Stow Cum Quy. A crew from Cambridge and the South Roaming Pump attended, along with two crews from Suffolk. Firefighters arrived to find a single vehicle collision involving a car on its roof. They used specialist equipment to release a casualty from the vehicle and left them in the care of ambulance crews."
Inrix, the traffic monitoring company, is now putting the "long delays" down to an "overturned car and fuel spillage".
Cambridgeshire Police has asked drivers to avoid the area of the A14 westbound crash, at junction 35.
A spokesperson for the force commented:
We were called at about 2pm today (18 November) with reports of a collision on the A14 at Stow Cum Quay. Officers and medics are at the scene. It looks like it is a single vehicle collision at this time, but it’s early days. Delays expected – motorists should avoid the area."
National Highways has described the crash as "serious" and said emergency services are responding.
