Is Hornell ready to get Real Clean?
Just in time for the salt, snow and grime of winter, construction is in its final stage at Real Clean Car Wash, with the new state-of-the-art facility at 215 Hornell St. on track to open in December.
With the building finished and equipment installation underway, Real Clean is eager to welcome customers and serve the Hornell community, according to its Hornell-raised founder and owner.
“We are deeply humbled and honored by the tremendous outpouring of interest and support we have received,” said Real Clean owner Dustin Broderick, a Hornell native. “We’re truly feeling the love and can’t wait to serve this wonderful community.”
Chrisanntha Construction of Gorham, N.Y. was the major building contractor for the project.
Car wash hours will be Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.; and Sunday, 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Until the new connector road off Route 36 is constructed, access to the business will be via Adsit Street to Hornell Street.
Construction of the new street will be coordinated with the larger state DOT corridor project scheduled to ramp up next year.
Broderick said express Real Clean Car Wash will feature a full range of wash packages for every budget, along with unlimited monthly plans, prepaid options, and family and fleet programs.
Every wash includes hand prep of each vehicle, and customers can take advantage of free vacuums, air dusters and drying towels on site.

Broderick said Real Clean’s online store will launch in November, allowing customers to easily view and purchase available services.
Real Clean will be offering substantial “Founders Club” discounts to early customers, Broderick said.

The company is also currently hiring up to 10 team members for multiple positions ahead of opening day. Job openings and purchase plans can be accessed at Real Clean’s online platform.
