Police are investigating whether a burnt-out vehicle found at Kings Langley is linked to shootings in Fairfield and Wetherill Park. (ABC News)
Three public place shootings and multiple car fires have occurred overnight across Sydney's west.
Although no injuries have been reported, police say "innocent" residents are "highly traumatised".
NSW Police are investigating whether the incidents are all linked.
Crime scenes have been established after a spree of shootings across Sydney's west and multiple car fires overnight, with "innocent" residents' lives put at risk.
A man and woman in their 20s escaped without injury after shots were fired at a home on Margaret Street at Fairfield just after 11pm on Wednesday.
Police said a dark-coloured SUV left the scene.
Shortly afterwards, in Bossley Park, police were called to Aberdeen Street about 11:55pm following reports of a public place shooting.

Officers attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command were told a single shot was fired at a caravan parked on the street before a white Audi sedan left the scene, with no injuries reported.
Just before 3am on Thursday, multiple shots were also fired at a business on McIlwraith Street in Wetherill Park.
Similar to the Fairfield incident, a black SUV or utility vehicle was seen leaving the Wetherill Park scene.
Police are investigating whether a similar-looking dark vehicle found on fire at Kings Langley just after 3am is linked to the shootings in Fairfield and Wetherill Park.

Another car was also found alight at Lalor Park in Sydney's west.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the burnt-out white Lexus hatchback at the scene have commenced.
NSW Police are investigating whether the incidents are all linked.
Fairfield City Police Area Commander Superintendent Craig Middleton told ABC Radio Sydney many of the residents affected were not known to police, which was "concerning".
He said the Wetherill Park shooting address was known to police in the past, but not the occupants.
"The one at Bossley Park was probably of most concern. That's an 80-year-old couple that has probably lived there their entire life, and they have no links to us whatsoever," Superintendent Middleton said.

Although no injuries were reported, Superintendent Middleton said the affected residents were "highly traumatised".
"They're putting the lives of these innocent people at risk," he said of those responsible for the shootings.
"We're all aware of the impact this has on the community, so we throw everything at it and we're working through it as much as we can."
