A trio of men allegedly involved in a police chase with a suspected “kill car” face more charges after a second vehicle was found.

Police began pursuing the men’s black SUV through Sydney’s southwest on Monday evening, reaching speeds of up to 80km/h in 50km/h streets before hitting a parked car in Merrylands West.
Four people who had been wearing balaclavas ran from the vehicle, and though three were quickly arrested and charged, the fourth remains on the run.
But the saga has not ended there.
Police on Tuesday evening uncovered another potential “kill car” in Toongabbie and laid more charges against the three men, aged between 19 and 22.
Clothes and two jerry cans were found in the white SUV, which was allegedly stolen from a Carlingford home on October 20.
The 19-year-old was additionally charged with acquiring a firearm subject to a prohibition order, while all three received more charges for allegedly participating in a criminal group and contributing to their activity, and taking a person in company with intent to commit a serious indictable offence.
A loaded shotgun and two jerry cans were found in the black SUV involved in Monday’s pursuit, which was later revealed to have been stolen from Balwyn in Victoria, about 850km away.
Both vehicles bear many hallmarks of a “kill car”, which are generally used by organised crime and contract criminals to commit and get away with serious offences, including murders and kidnappings.
They are often stolen vehicles with cloned licence plates that contain balaclavas, weapons, and a jerry can that can be used to set the car alight and destroy evidence.
The 20-year-old will appear at Parramatta Local Court on January 13 and the other two will face the same court on Thursday.
The search for the fourth man continues.
