Emergency services attended the fire in Cordale Road earlier
A car was set on fire with a man and a woman sleeping inside, police have said.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze in Cordale Road, Basingstoke, at about 05:30 GMT, according to Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary.
The pair in the car were not injured, the force said.
Police, who are treating the fire as a suspected arson, have appealed to trace witnesses who were in the area at the time.
