Fire destroyed the garage of a Millgrove home Saturday afternoon.
According to Hamilton Fire Department Assistant Deputy Chief Shawn De Jager, firefighters responded to a a reported structure fire on Binkley Court in Millgrove at around 4:30 Saturday afternoon.
"First arriving crews reported a well-involved detached two car garage on fire," De Jager said in an email. "The fire was contained to the detached garage and was quickly extinguished.
"One occupant was treated for smoke inhalation under the care of Paramedic Services," he noted. 
Up to five tankers and five pumpers/engines along with two ladders were dispatched to fight the blaze. 
De Jager said there was "no expected cause or estimated damages, nor any other injuries to report at this time." 
Firefighters from Waterdown Station 24 have completed work at the scene of a structure fire on Binkley Court in Millgrove.
Crews, including tanker trucks to ensure there was enough water supply available, were called to the scene where a multi-car garage was on fire. 
The fire was extinguished and the firefighters cleared the scene by 7:15 p.m. 
The fire did not spread to the home on the property, and there are no injuries reported.

Hamilton Fire Department crews are currently battling a structure fire in Millgrove.
According to the HFD Incidents website, the fire was reported at 4:33 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22. 
The latest information on the website indicates that 18 units have been dispatched to the site, which is in the area of Palmer Lane just west of Highway 6. Fire engines and tanker trucks, along with units from several HFD stations were sent to the scene.
